What is an ebook?
If you've never used (or heard of) an ebook before don't worry, they aren't complicated at all. An ebook is just a computer file, like a Microsoft Word document.
You do need a special program to read an ebook but your computer probably already has this (it's called Acrobat Reader). Once you've downloaded the file, you just double-click on it and you can
start reading.
Do I have to read the ebook on my computer?
No. Once you've downloaded an ebook you can either read it on your computer screen or
you can print it out and read it on paper.
How do I download an ebook?
Once you've paid for the ebook you can download it from your invoice page. We'll also send you an email with a link where you can login to access the e-books again. All you have to do is click on the link and the e-book will be downloaded to your computer.
How long does the download take?
All of our ebooks are
very quick to download. The largest one (The Foundation of Health) takes about 3 minutes if you have a dial-up Internet connection, or
less than 30 seconds if you have broadband.
