Enteroplex is a blend of two natural food ingredients used by nutritionists and naturopaths as part of a traditional approach in helping to maintain the health of the digestive system. Cabbage and liquorice are traditional foods used for centuries for supporting the digestive system. Concentrated extracts of cabbage are referred to as cabagin and contain vitamin U, an anti-ulcer factor. The preferred form of liquorice is deglycyrrhizinated (DGY) liquorice, which can be used for long periods without upsetting potassium levels.
